The
Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) promotes firearms safety training and
rifle practice for all qualified U.S. citizens with special emphasis on
youth. The CMP operates through a network of
affiliated
shooting clubs and
associations
that covers every state in the U.S. The clubs and associations offer
firearms safety training and marksmanship courses as well as the
opportunity for continued practice and competition."

Huron Pointe
members strongly believe that the future of our shooting sports rests
with proper training, safety, practice, and shooting opportunities for
our youth. These are all essential elements for the continuation
of our hunting and shooting traditions. By affiliating with the
CMP, Huron Pointe Sportsmen's Association hopes to further
enhance marksmanship opportunities for both our junior and
senior shooters .

created by Congress, is a non-profit organization, and exists to promote
